Have you ever seen someone pull out their phone to take a picture of you and you got a little panicked? I do. Every. Single. Time. I avoided having any photos taken of me - ask my family - for YEARS. That's why I do this. I want to create an environment that I would have felt safe in all those times. I think we often forget that there is this version of ourselves that is sure and confident and I aim to bring that version out and capture the moment. I strive to give you THAT photo. The one you look at and think, "Wow. I'm hot." THAT photo that makes you think about updating your social media profile pictures. THAT photo you consider putting on a "My Favorite Child" mug for your parents.

Hello :) I'm Jay. I left a stable life in Utah to pursue something greater here in Colorado, and it has not disappointed! I've spent the entirety of my short adult life in the military and government-contracted positions. As grateful as I was for the stability those careers offered, I knew I would never be fulfilled in that field. So now we're here, starting from scratch to pursue something that means so much to me. To be able to bring something of value to this gorgeous community you've welcomed me into. I pushed the creative parts of myself aside for so long, I can't wait to let her out to do her thing! I strive to build the confidence you deserve to have and I can't begin to express my excitement to work with you <3
I am a walking, bleeding heart, I am compassionate, and I am loving. It is of the utmost importance to me to note that EVERYONE is welcome in my studio with open arms.
